General Public and Other Groups

The museum is not open to the public other than on the annual University Open Day (Discovery Day), held in August, and several other Museum Open Days throughout the year. Please contact the curator if you wish to receive an invitation to the next Open Day.

Students can compare dissected, preserved specimens with digital images and other information.

Other groups working in or studying in an anatomy/pathology related field may book a tour of the museum through the curator. Tour details are listed below:

Available times: weekdays between the hours of 9:00am and 4:00pm. Most times are available unless a previous booking has been made. At least three weeks’ notice is preferred.

Capacity: a maximum of 25 visitors.

Duration: approximately one hour.

Cost: $192.50 per tour (includes GST).
