John is Professor of Anatomy and Cell Biology and leader of the Autonomic Neuroscience Laboratory. He graduated originally in Physics and Mathematics, then in Zoology. His major interest is in experimental neuroscience, particularly as it applies to the enteric nervous system. He most enjoys devising experiments and experimental methods. He does almost all the microsurgery in the laboratory, and interferes in everyone's experiments.
