Katsuyo is a postdoctoral fellow in the Department of Veterinary Pharmacology of the Gifu University, Japan. She completed her PhD at Tokyo University in 2008 utilizing the behaviour pharmacology and brain imaging techniques to study the visceral hypersensitivity in the rat model of IBS.
She joined our laboratory in July 2008 as a visiting honorary academic and will stay for one year. This is her first visit to the University of Melbourne. Her studies include electrophysiological analysis of excitabilities.
