Louise joined the laboratory in July 2006 as a research assistant. She completed a Bachelor of Applied Science (Hons) degree at LaTrobe University Bendigo in 2005, where she studied the effect of an endocrine disrupting chemical bisphenol A in breast cancer, examining the roles of apoptosis, cell proliferation and interaction with the oestrogen receptors.
