Norifumi is a MD/PhD program student from the Department of Anatomy, School of Medicine, Sapporo Medical University, Japan. He has previously undertaken research, including in cardiac muscle regeneration and is due to graduate in March 2013. He joined the laboratory June 2010 as a visiting researcher and will stay for 11 weeks. He is investigating the identification and localization of ghrelin in the central nervous system under the supervision of Romke Bron and John Furness and is studying practical techniques with Billie Hunne.
