Tony is an experienced molecular biologist and recently joined the team to lead the molecular effort in the laboratory. He was awarded his PhD in 2002 from René Descartes University in Paris, France and moved to New Zealand to take up postdoctoral positions at Otago then Lincoln University to gain experience in molecular neuroscience.
In 2008 he moved to Melbourne to set up the Australian Neurotrauma Tissue and Fluid Bank at the National Trauma Research Institute, The Alfred Hospital. His main research interest is to understand the molecular, biochemical and cellular changes leading to neurodegeneration.
