Funding and Scholarships

Students wishing to undertake research in the Department of Anatomy and Cell Biology have a number of avenues of support. The University offers scholarships for both PhD and BSc (Hons) studies. Queries should be directed to the PhD Co-ordinator (Peter Kitchener) or the Honours Co-ordinator (Colin Anderson) as appropriate.

If you are an undergraduate student wishing to undertake vacation work, then a number of vacation scholarships ($1000 each) are available. In addition, the Department offers a number of prizes for the leading undergraduate students in the areas of Topographic Anatomy, Neuroscience and Developmental Biology. The prizes are awarded based on the marks and do not need to be applied for individually.
