Welcome to the Imaging Unit

Michelle and Stuart at the Imaging Unit.

For all your large format printing needs, come to the Imaging Unit in the Department of Anatomy and Cell Biology.

We can print and laminate posters in a range of sizes up to 1000mm x 4000mm as well as stocking poster tubes for safe and easy transport. Please check the advice section from time to time, as our print specifications can change with software upgrades.

If you can't find the information you need in the advice section, email the Imaging Unit or phone Michelle or Stuart on (03) 8344 5780. The internal extension is 45780.

Poster printing

* Material posters are now available. The material is polyester based and does not need laminating. Rolls for ease of transport.

Our poster tubes are black, hard plastic, extendable, with a screw top lid and carry strap.

General advice for poster printing

The three most important things we need to print your poster are:

• The file
• An A4 sample printout
• A copy of any 'non standard' fonts you may have used

Please refer to our Poster Printing Guide for advice on producing a successful poster file - it is full of information on getting started as well as tips and suggestions on various software packages.
