Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences Department of Anatomy and Neuroscience

Students - Administration

Student Administration Officers for the entire Biomedical Academic Centre (including Anatomy and Neuroscience) are located on Level 7, East wing of the Medical Building and enquiries about Department- based responsibilities should be made there.
More general enquiries about course and Student Support matters should be made at the appropriate Student Centre. For B.Sc. and B.Biomed., the appropriate Student Centre is the Eastern Precinct Student Centre. For Medical, Dental and Physiotherapy students, it is the MDHS Student Centre in the Brownless library.

Special consideration

All students should be aware of the guidelines for special consideration. In brief, you should apply online within three working days of the due date for the relevant assessment task. An HCAP form must also be completed by your doctor or other health care professional or counsellor. A decision on the outcome of your application will be made by the MDHS Special Consideration Committee. A successful application for special consideration is the only way that a missed assessment task can be discounted or a special exam offered.

Please note that some assessments tasks in some subjects are excluded from Special Consideration and are dealt with directly by the Subject Coordinator. For subject specific information, please refer to the relevant subject LMS site.
