Under the Coverslip 2010 ~ Imaging and Microscopy Competition
Under the Coverslip is a scientific photography competition where all research students from the University of Melbourne are able to present their scientific work as part of an art exhibition.
As well as showcasing the work of the University of Melbourne’s research students, prizes are awarded to the best images at a grand opening held in the Gryphon Gallery, of the 1888 building.
So the winners were:
1st: Stephanie Conway (Botany)- Drinking at the waterhole

2nd: Sally Gordon (ACB) - Seeing Spots

3rd: Julia McCoey (ACB) - He can't fly but I'm telling you, he can run the pants off a kangaroo (emu with a beret)

People's Choice: Pete Mendis (ACB) - Scream
